Hi there, XXXX!
What a winter! Rain, floods... but spring is on the way! Yes it is, really...
And after a winter of keeping (mostly) dry and warm and well-fed, FiddleBop is also ready to burst forth into resplendent new hot-gypsy-jazz life! Yes, we've some cracking gigs lined up which will definitely release your inner Easter bunny (or whatever).
The first of which will be next Saturday (1 March) at the splendid Norman Knight, in Whichford, Warwicks. This hospitable hostelry happily hosts hoodlums, including FiddleBop, till the pub resounds with rhythmically raucous revelry! And with fantastic, filling, feast-fit fodder and bracing boss-quality boozy beverages... well, what more can I say? FiddleBop will enthusiastically endeavour to excitingly entertain (OK, OK...) with songs and tunes old and new, and a Special Guest too. So can you afford to be elsewhere this Saturday evening, from 8.30 pm on?
If Whichford is a little too far north for you (it happens), then how about The Nag's Head in Abingdon on Sunday 9 March, from 4.30 pm? Rhythmically river-side we will certainly be, but not soggily syncopated... This is a new venue for us, deep in darkest southern Oxfordshire. But we will, as always, give it our usual hot-gypsy-jazz level best! Familiar faces (and new friends) are welcome! See you there?
OK, that's enough for now. Future FiddleBop gigs are listed below, with more to be confirmed. Please check the always-up-to-date gig list at our website before setting out for any of these, tho', since gigs do get cancelled and timings do change.
Sumer is icumen in, Lhude sing, cuccu..." Yippppeeee! See you soon!
